New Look

Yes, still playing around with my template, since I'd been wanting to go back to 3 columns. What do you think of the new design? I still need to tweak some things but let me know if anything looks broken, or if the fixed width is a problem...

I guess I'll be the grumpy guss who doesn't like it!
I prefer content in the middle with the other two columns on either side. But, that's just me.

I like it. I often scroll down to re-read your rules and posts on specific categories. This makes it easier for me. And it looks pretty.

I with Frank the Financially Savvy Contrarian. I liked the old three column format better, but this is not bad. It's pretty. But the fixed width is a bummer when I'm on a laptop. (But I guess I don't need to look at the furthest sidebar.)

BTW, I'm on Firefox on XP, and it all looks fine.

thanks all... frank and mapgirl, I don't know why but I just got really bored with the centered look of having the sidebars on each side! But I had trouble trying to get the 2 sidebars on one side to work with a floating width...
anyway, we'll see, maybe I'll get bored with this look too!

I'm kind of with Frank and Mapgirl. It feels a little unbalanced to me. I think it might feel less weird with the columns on the left and the content on the right, but I'm sure I'll quickly get used to it the way it is. One other comment: the links underneath each post seem kind of cluttered: did you change those too? It took me a moment to locate the comment one from amongst all the rest.

But overall I love the way your blog looks, so please don't take my comments too negatively! It's always fun to play around with the layout and have a change, anyway.

I like the new look. It's new, it's different. It makes me smile!
