Reading most financial magazines and books gives one the idea that all people are either desperate and incompetent, or wealthy and clever, at dealing with money. It's scary to be poor, and it would probably be nice to be rich, but the truth is that most people are somewhere in between, as are we (you a little closer to rich, and me a little closer to poor). I do read other authors, but I make sure to get to your blog everyday, because you help me believe that someone with ordinary, everyday concerns can deal with financial matters in a sane way. I am comforted and hopeful that I can get out, and stay out, of debt, and achieve more control of my financial life. Thank you!
