I've never been happier. I get my (Outlook and Google) e-mail with no hassle, including calendar, contacts and all, can RDP into any server I need to, can track any on-line program, have access to my Kindle account (I read A LOT) and can watch movies while I'm on the treadmill, listen to podcasts in the car, and all with out missing a phone call. And I won't even go into how much improved my relationship with my MIL is now that we are playing scrabble on line (Words with Friends - totally addictive!). Business, pleasure, and information all at my fingertips. Now, if only my four year old would stop stealing my phone so she can watch her Dora episodes...4 a penny, 4 a poundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18238386997655583620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14245531.post-35754632197271877432010-03-12T10:05:01.863-05:002010-03-12T10:05:01.863-05:00Dee, the problem was that the IT department at my ...Dee, the problem was that the IT department at my job tries to restrict people to just the authorized Blackberries, so they kept all that server info secret and I was never able to ferret it out. But since posting this, I actually did get the info from someone else who had an iphone, and am now happily syncing with a lot less complication. I'm still syncing to Google too, just to keep a backup.Madame Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11536189690094235926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14245531.post-39267539777401521202010-03-12T00:33:27.994-05:002010-03-12T00:33:27.994-05:00You don't need all that hoopla or expensive ap...You don't need all that hoopla or expensive apps to sync Outlook to the iphone. I added my work email address, the company's server name (in this case webmail info, the domain, and username and pw). That's it! No muss no fuss and no extra money on apps. One of my favorite apps is List Master, as I am an inveterate list maker. I set up a checkbook list in it to enter transactions on the go, then simply reference it to input the data into my Quicken desktop. You can also email lists from it in a cvs format to make importing into spreadsheets easier.

~DebyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14245531.post-8472950933599229162010-03-03T12:49:11.438-05:002010-03-03T12:49:11.438-05:00You can track cash in mint by splitting the cash w...You can track cash in mint by splitting the cash withdrawal transaction that shows up to reflect what you spent it on. It's a little clumsy but I find it works okay for me since most of my purchases are done on my credit card and I usually only take out cash for a specific purchase or two.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14245531.post-32426567028328351012010-03-03T11:18:09.767-05:002010-03-03T11:18:09.767-05:00You should check out NuevaSync to sync your google...You should check out NuevaSync to sync your google info to your iphone - http://www.nuevasync.com/Jeniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06385429296000195101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14245531.post-81782486741727811332010-03-02T12:39:26.308-05:002010-03-02T12:39:26.308-05:00Have you checked out iBank? They had the market, and then they lost it. Why? I'm not sure, but it is amazing how out of touch they are now. I guess they didn't have the developers and brainiacs to figure out what everyone wanted in a phone before Apple and Blackberry did. It's unfortunate.

Enjoy your new iphone. Sounds like a lot of work setting it up, but I'm sure now that the hard part is done, you'll be checking accounts with ease.
-TashaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14245531.post-21441581582158601922010-03-01T17:40:26.478-05:002010-03-01T17:40:26.478-05:00This is a pretty indirect way of saving money, but...This is a pretty indirect way of saving money, but I'm going to count it anyway: I just moved to NYC a month ago and don't really know my way around yet. I use the HopStop app all the time to figure out which subway line/bus route to take. If I didn't have it, I'd probably resort to using more cabs (as I did in the past when I was just visiting). It will also calculate the cost of a taxi, which helps me determine that sometimes, late at night, it's worth it just to pay $15 and get across town!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14245531.post-5693944701252505292010-03-01T16:27:59.656-05:002010-03-01T16:27:59.656-05:00I went through a similar process of trying to deci...I went through a similar process of trying to decide whether I finally wanted to step up to the Iphone.
