One of the great things about the personal finance blogging community is seeing people achieve their goals, in dramatic, tangible ways. I'm a little late in coming to the party, but I wanted to join the chorus of congratulations to No Credit Needed for eliminating his debt.
And this week, Caitlin of Clutter2Cash hit 100% on her 2005 Roth-o-meter. (I listened to my entire James Brown boxed set but I couldn't find a song that worked quite as well for that one. But Caitlin, if you ever do a post about buying luggage, I promise I will link to it under the headline "Mama's Got a Brand New Bag." And whoever eliminates their debt next will get "The Payback"-- that one's easy. Ooh, and the next time Jonathan does a Reverse Carnival of Money Mistakes, he'll get "Super Bad." But I'm going to have to save "Sex Machine" for something really special... bloggers, I dare you to deserve it!)
And every month, thanks to Neo's charts and graphs, we can see a lot of people edging ahead, forging ahead, and leaping ahead in their net worth. Sure, sometimes we have months where our net worth might decrease, but temporary setbacks don't seem so bad when you see things moving forward overall. The visibility of everyone's progress is inspiring. I guess you could say it's in sight, and also "Out of Sight."
So I send out cheers and thanks to everyone who is saving, striving, investing, blogging, and all that stuff.
I got you. I feel good.

haha. I just had the thought of doing a cost analysis of different types of birth control...
HA! Awesome! But now I am strangely tempted to look at luggage...
This post is hilarious! I luv James Brown. Can't wait to see who'll get the "sex machine" reference. LOL
