Despite having once earned $50 as a runway model (a certain Italian sportswear line, nothing couture, dahlings), I am not a big reader of fashion magazines, so I have to thank commenter SZ for pointing out that this blog was mentioned in Marie Claire's November issue. (And no, unlike the Weekly World News thing, this is not a joke, though if you could see my wardrobe, you still might not believe me!) Anyway, I read the story mentioned on the cover about women and money ten times, completely baffled until I figured out that the mention wasn't there, but rather in the "Culture: Books & Web" section on page 56:
Ever had the urge to peek at your best friend's ATM receipt as she shoves it into her purse? Now you can snoop guilt-free, thanks to the blog of an anonymous Brooklyn, NY woman who has made her life an open checkbook, offering up an anatomy of her living expenses and net worth, plus 14 money maxims to live by.
Thank you Marie Claire!
As always, if you're here for the first time, check out the Rules and Favorite Posts in the left sidebar, and those linked in the "About Me" section... or use the Google search box to see what I have to say about "clothes," "shoes," "hair," etc! This post and this post might pop up...

Congrats! I've noticed that many magazines are mentioning popular blogs. I've taken it a step further. Blogs are my magazines! I have not purchased a single glossy since I've tapped into blogs!
Again congrats on the mention!
