Rachelle Says Thanks!

To everyone who pitched in with helpful advice for Rachelle about how to move to New York City, here's a follow-up on where she's at:

Thanks so much for posting my question on your blog! It was very helpful and encouraging. In the meantime between asking the question and having it posted, I was actually promoted at my current employer so I will be staying here at least another 2 years to really make the most of my new position. The upside is that I’m much happier and fulfilled in this new role, so staying here is not really a bad thing for me at this point. I’m also going to be able to leverage a higher position, here or elsewhere, in the future now that I have a better title and more involved job. But thank you again! It really was so encouraging to hear so many people tell me to just do it, even though it’s scary and sometimes seems impossible. I still hope to live in New York someday, and I will definitely keep their encouragement in mind when I finally take that leap!

Congratulations to Rachelle on her promotion, and we still hope to see you in the Big Apple someday!
