My Favorite New Summer Song

I'm a big fan of the musician Imani Coppola-- I don't love everything she's ever done, but when she is good, she's GREAT: a funky sound and wonderfully clever lyrics. She now has a new band called Little Jackie and their new album is fabulous.
The first song is about hanging out on a stoop, and I liked this line:

We in Brooklyn, it ain’t no Beverly Hills
Basically we pay bills, then chill

That's what it all comes down to, isn't it? Paying bills and chilling, in Brooklyn and beyond.
I've got a few more hours of bill paying on this sunny Friday, and then it's time for the chilling! Have a great weekend, everyone.

Bronx Chica- hey madame X! Just came back from South Beach and can't wait to re-visit. Favorite summer song- "Mo money more problems" in which i was dancing the night away in the club.
