Even music celebrities can be prone to guilt about spending. In an interview with the New York Times Magazine, here's what Lucinda Williams had to say:
Biggest self-indulgence: Shopping and regretting it later. One time I managed to spend $11,000 on crystals, which to this day I am beating myself up about. They are in a box in the garage. That’s really bad. I don’t know what got into me.
I don't know why I found this so amusing!

I'm not sure who she is, but if she really felt bad about spending the money on her crystals, why doesn't she sell them and give the $$ to charity, or buy something else, instead of just talking about how wasteful she is. I don't know why you're amused, to me it shows how self-centered rich people are.

I like how she says, "managed to spend" as if even with her scale of income it is ludicrous :)
Somehow I just love this. Maybe though it's time for her to get those crystals out and ebay or craigslist them?
