Facebook Stock

So, did any of you invest in Facebook stock? I have to say, my instinct was that it was over-hyped and couldn't help but go down in the first couple of days. If I was more confident about trading, I would have shorted the stock-- and as things turned out, I could have made some money! But unfortunately I am not that daring an investor...

I thought with all of the hype that for sure it would skyrocket. I didn't buy any because I had no money to invest with, but I'm glad I didn't put any money into it now!

I was issued 50 shares at the IPO price. Needless to say, this was not my best investment.

You can't short new stocks like this...

your investment is very important as you are playing a risky finance game and this is very important that time should be in your favor.

Okay, I know this sounds silly. I was going to short the stock, but so many people I knew bought in...I just didn't want to bet against them. So I ended up not getting involved at all. I know, I am a complete dork.

I did not. First of all I could not understand how they will generate any meaningful growth and profit from the existing customers base.

I do not believe in longevity of the service ...at the end of the date it is just a database. Tomorrow somebody will start new one and people (reluctantly) will switch over.

Third this is...their P/E was 100....there plenty of other stocks with more potential and handsome dividends paid.
