Yes, the numbers cited in the previous post were too good to be true. I was putting away my credit card receipts and realized the balance in the account seemed wrong, so I started poking around. It turns out some transactions I had entered in Quicken vaporized somewhere between my Palm and the desktop software, so they weren't counted in my totals.
My REAL food expenditures in March were $556.
My REAL telephone expeditures were $98.
My REAL month-end net worth is a couple hundred dollars less.
Oops.
Just goes to show that you should always review all your transactions very carefully and in general try to avoid being a retard.
That is my advice for today.
