How to Find Real Estate Data... like where rich single men live

Property Shark is a fun thing to play with. They have recently scaled back some of the data you can access for free, but it's still quite useful to get an idea of real estate prices in your neighborhood, where flood zones are, what kind of zoning is in effect, etc. I'm actually watching a corner lot near my new place to see if there are any signs of it being developed into a high-rise building rather than its current status as a parking lot.
But here's something I hadn't noticed before: you can now see on a map what the average income level of single men in the area is. I read about it on Curbed, where the comments got rather interesting, as you might imagine. The map is also shaded to represent the ratio of single men in the population, from dark red for "Meat Market" (more than 1 in 3 men are single) to light pink for "Wedlocked" (less than 1 in 20 men are single.) Sexual orientation is not mapped, however.
My neighborhood is not marked with a whole lot of dollar signs (but I don't know how much I can trust a map that has Green-Wood Cemetery incorrectly labeled as Sunset Park):

Anyway, it's fascinating how people keep creating all these crazy map mash-ups-- what will be next? I suppose once you have mapped the single male population by their income, it's only a matter of time before they map single women by average weight and bra size...
